Located on Grassy Key just east of Marathon, midway down the Florida Keys, is The Palm Deck rooftop lounge above the fine dining of the Rhum House restaurant. Both are located on the grounds of the Grassy Flats Resort & Beach Club situated along the beautiful crystal blue waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

We began our evening sharing a toast to being in the Florida Keys, while seated overlooking the ocean from that rooftop of The Palm Deck. We were enjoying the scenery while sipping on a refreshing tropical cocktail. Though we planned to have dinner downstairs at the Rhum House we glanced at the menu offerings of the Palm Deck and noted that we very much would have enjoyed a meal there as well. The broad variety of sharables, fresh seafood appetizers, dips, ceviche and fresh conch were just a portion of the selections. Land-lovers also have plenty to choose from, including Cuban sliders, jerk chicken and a variety of differently prepared chicken dishes, along with many more offerings of meats. We certainly could have happily partaken of and been satisfied with the appetizing dishes available at The Palm Deck.

Guests of The Palm deck can also enjoy the live music of the islands, while sipping their cocktails. The Palm Deck invites you to come relax and unwind at their establishment. But they also assure that even if you just come for the view, you will also be tempted to stay for the food and then let the good times roll!
