  1. A disappointing and superficial account of Slaty Fork, an extremely challenging wild trout river. By the way, forget February, April really gets things going with Quill Gordon and Grannom hatches, then by the first week of May, the Sulfurs (I have never encountered them before May 4th), then Green Drakes, Isos, etc. This kind of facile tourist piece does nothing to further our understanding of this complex, difficult river.
